Curriculam

Comprehensive curriculum is a written plan that guides the design of children’s goals for learning and development, the experiences children. Content in a comprehensive curriculum focuses on all domains of learning: social-emotional, physical, cognitive (intellectual), and communication (language and literacy). Curriculum typically refers to the knowledge and skills students are expected to learn, which includes the learning standards or learning objectives they are expected to meet; the units and lessons that teachers teach; the assignments and projects given to students; the books, materials, videos, presentations, and readings used in a course; and the tests, assessments, and other methods used to evaluate student learning. An individual teacher’s curriculum, for example, would be the specific learning standards, lessons, assignments, and materials used to organize and teach a particular course. In Heritage Public School, we follow CBSE’s scheme of Evaluation throughout the year. The main aim of this evaluation is to judge every aspect of the child during their presence at the school. This is believed to help reduce the pressure on the child during/before examinations as the student will have to sit for multiple tests throughout the year. The evaluation method is claimed to bring enormous changes from the traditional chalk and talk method of teaching. Along with the scholastic this curriculum also focuses the skill of the students in other fields like arts, sports, music, dance etc which helps a student motivate to quench for his thirst of knowledge.
