NO HOME WORK POLICY FOR JUNIOR CLASS

In Heritage Public School the “ No Homework” policy has been a default mechanism for junior classes.

Prospectus

MIDDLE SECTION

Middle Section Middle stage of education covering 3-4 years of academic study is formed by 6th to 8thclass consisting of students aged between 12 to 14 years.

PRIMARY SECTION

Primary Section Primary education in HPS offered usually consists of students aged between 5 to 12 years.

pre-primary section

Pre-Primary Section Pre-primary education in HPS is provided to children between 3–6 years by Kindergarten, Playway, or Play Schools method.

secondery section

Secondary Stage of education covering 2-3 years of academic study starts with classes 9th & 10th. Consisting of students aged between 14-16 years

Admission Procedure

DOCUMENTATION

Attach one latest passport size colour photographs of the child , Father, and Mother on Admission Form, The Admission Form, duly filled-in and complete in all respect, should be submitted in person to the Office on or before the last date.

Date of assessment/interaction/interview will be given at the time of registration or intimated to the parents on. The same may be changed, without prior notice, by the School.

Submission of admission form does not imply admission, which is subject to Assessment procedure and availability of seats.

Applications must be complete and information mentioned in the Admission Form should be true. In case of any discrepancy with the fact, management holds the right to cancel the Admission Form as well as the admission of the child.

Admission form will be verified after the last date and the list of selected candidates will be put up on the notice board at the School Gate


SELECTION PROCEDURE

The selection for Play Group to Senior KG will be held on the basis of an interaction. The teachers observe and interact with the child and the parents. The child and both parents should be present in the school as per the schedule that is displayed on the notice board.

For classes I to IX and X wherever seats are available, written test will be conducted and the qualified candidates will be called for an interview.


THE WRITTEN TEST

The written test will cover the following subjects:
For class I to VIII For class IX
English English
Mathematics Mathematics
Hindi Hindi
Science

The question paper will be general in nature based on the CBSE syllabus of the previous class. Candidates must report to school at least 15 minutes before the test begins. Date and time of test will be mentioned on the notice board.


THE LIST OF CANDIDATES

The list of candidates selected for admission to Nursery will be displayed on the school notice board.

List of candidates qualified in the written test and selected for the final interview shall be displayed on the School Notice Board at the School gate.

The list of qualified candidates in the final interview will be displayed on the notice board. Admission will be strictly on merit basis only.


Student Guidelines

Admission Procedure for classes Play Group to IX starts in the month of December for the next session. Notice will be displayed on the school notice board at the school gate.

  • The Prospectus and Admission Form can be obtained from the office.
  • Please fill up the Admission Form in Capital Letters.
  • It is mandatory that the Parents should fill up the Registration Form themselves.

The admission date & time etc. will be displayed along with final list. It is mandatory for both parents to be present to complete various admission formalities.

Following documents are required at the time of admission:
  • 3 recent passport size photographs of the child, Mother and father
  • Photo copy of Date of Birth Certificate from Registrar of Births and Deaths
  • Character Certificate from the school last attended (from class II onwards)
  • For students seeking admission in class II onwards, it is mandatory to submit Transfer Certificate (Original) from the last school attended duly countersigned by the Inspector of Schools
